Seattle Bridge Church is entering a new chapter.
After more than a decade of ministry in the greater Seattle area, we have recently welcomed Pastor Alex Kim as our new Lead Pastor. We are seeking an Associate Pastor who loves Jesus, has a heart for the next generation, and desires to serve alongside our Lead Pastor and church family.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY
The primary focus of this position will be middle and high school ministry, including:

The Associate Pastor will work closely with Pastor Alex Kim and other ministry leaders in areas such as:
We are looking for someone who is willing to serve with flexibility and humility, while recognizing that the primary responsibility of this position is youth and Christian education.
We are a multi-generational Korean American church that is increasingly becoming an English-speaking community. Korean language ability is a plus, but not required.
Seminary or formal theological education is preferred but not required. Ministry experience, character, spiritual maturity, and a genuine sense of calling are important to us.
We are seeking someone who wants to serve Jesus, invest in the next generation, and grow together with Seattle Bridge Church.

- Providing pastoral leadership and care for our youth
- Teaching and preaching God's Word
- Developing relationships with students and helping them grow in faith
- Working with and encouraging youth ministry volunteers
- Planning and leading youth ministry activities & events, Bible studies, and discipleship
- Helping create a welcoming and healthy environment where young people can ask honest questions and follow Jesus
*The Associate Pastor will also provide leadership and support for our children's Christian education ministry.
This may include:
- Supporting teachers and ministry volunteers
- Helping develop age-appropriate discipleship and Bible teaching
- Communicating with parents when appropriate
- Working with church leadership to strengthen our overall Christian education ministry
WORKING TOGETHER
The Associate Pastor will work closely with Pastor Alex Kim and other ministry leaders in areas such as:
- Ministry planning and coordination
- Volunteer development
- Selected pastoral care and visitation
- Church administration and other ministry needs as agreed upon
